INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. almond milk any milk will suffice - I opt for dairy-free
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. melted Earth Balance butter alternative may substitute butter
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F. Place an oven-safe dish in the oven. This is where you can keep the finished pancakes warm until the entire batch is ready.

  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg and melted butter.

  4. Slowly pour the liquid bowl contents into the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until smooth.

  5. Prep a skillet with butter or an alternative over medium heat.

  6. Use a 1/3 measuring cup to pour batter onto skillet.

  7. When the bubbles begin to pop, pancakes are ready to be flipped.
